The Rwanda Education Commons is a partnership between the Government of Rwanda and USAID. It manages a virtual platform for education collaboration for teachers, learners, and policy makers administrators.

The Rwanda Education Commons is hosted by the Ministry of Education and run by the Global Learning Portal at the Academy for Educational Development (AED).

The Rwanda Education Commons (REC) aims to help Rwanda expand access to quality education through the use of information and communication technologies (ICTs). It hopes to realize this goal by improving the climate for collaboration in the use of ICTs in education, and by implementing activities that use ICTs to supplement teaching and learning.
