Minister Nsengimana Advocates for Inclusive Education at National Symposium

Minister of Education Joseph Nsengimana delivered a keynote address at Rwanda’s inaugural National Education Inclusion Symposium, reaffirming the country’s unwavering commitment to ensuring equitable learning opportunities for all children.

While addressing participants that include educators, policymakers, and stakeholders, Minister Nsengimana emphasized the necessity and transformative power of inclusive education in driving national development.

"True progress in education goes beyond access—it is about inclusion, quality, and impact. Today, we reaffirm our commitment to building a nation where every child has the opportunity to excel and contribute," he stated.

The Minister highlighted that Rwanda’s education agenda is not only about expanding access but also about creating an environment where every learner, regardless of background or ability, can thrive. He reiterated the government's dedication to strengthening policies, equipping educators with the necessary skills, and fostering inclusive learning spaces nationwide.

"Inclusive education is not an option—it is a necessity. A just and accessible education system is fundamental to Rwanda’s sustainable growth and prosperity," Minister Nsengimana affirmed.

The symposium marks a significant milestone in Rwanda's efforts to champion education for all. As the country moves forward, the Ministry of Education remains resolute in its mission to ensure that no child is left behind in the pursuit of knowledge and opportunity.
