Minister Nsengimana Celebrates Hope Haven’s First Graduating Class, Hails School’s Impact on Values-Based Education

Minister Joseph Nsengimana joined the inaugural graduation ceremony of Hope Haven Christian School this Saturday—celebrating the first-ever cohort of 123 students to complete senior secondary school.

Minister Nsengimana commended  the school’s unwavering dedication to academic excellence, character formation, and values-based education. For three consecutive years, Hope Haven students have ranked among the top 4% nationally in the Primary 6 national examinations—a clear reflection of consistent effort and the tireless dedication of those who have supported your journey.

He said:
“To Susanne Hellern, the Founder of Hope Haven Rwanda, to Liz Ingabire who worked with Susan from Day 1, to all those who supported them to make this dream a reality, thank you! Your service has changed lives and continues to shape a brighter future.

What began as a simple act of faith and commitment has grown into a thriving institution that has served over 2,000 students. This is not just a school—it is a vision realized, a community transformed, and a powerful example of what is possible when faith, dedication, and hope come together in service.

To you, the graduands, you carry forward a legacy built on faith, perseverance, and sacrifice. Your journey is a testament to the power of purpose and the courage to pursue it.

As you step into the next chapter of your lives, remember this: Rwanda needs your courage, your creativity, and your commitment. Our country needs young people who are not only educated, but grounded in values—who lead with purpose and lift others as they rise. Wherever life takes you, walk in faith, act with integrity, and never forget the roots that shaped you.”
