New infrastructures inaugurated at Rubengera TVET
Kigali, 19/02/2022: The Minister of Education Dr. Valentine UWAMARIYA together with H.E. Valentin ZELLWEGER, Ambassador of Switzerland to Rwanda inaugurated newly constructed infrastructures funded by Switzerland at Rubengera TVET school in Karongi District in Southern Province.
The new infrastructures consist of two new dormitories , one dining hall and one kitchen. Dr. Valentine UWAMARIYA commended the existing cooperation between Rwanda and Switzerland , and said that these new infrastructures lwill contribute to the improvement of quality education as the school is now ranked as a boarding one and can therefore accomodate many students.
Rubengera TVET school has 136 students of which 50 girls and 86 boys who are enrolled respectively in masonry, culinary arts and welding classes
