Rwanda Hosts the 13th Academia-Public-Private Partnership Forum

At the opening of the 13th Academia-Public-Private Partnership Forum, the Minister of Education of Rwanda Joseph Nsengimana stated, “We reaffirm the crucial role of collaboration between universities and industry in driving sustainable development in our region.” Rwanda proudly champions this agenda, recognizing that a strong private sector fuels economic transformation, while an industry-aligned education system fosters innovation and progress.

“We firmly believe that a dynamic, inclusive, and responsive education system is the key to shared prosperity,” the Minister continued. “Strong academia-industry partnerships ensure that graduates become job creators and solution providers for Africa’s development.”

This forum is more than a meeting; it is a strategic platform to rethink how higher education and industry can forge impactful partnerships that address current challenges and anticipate the needs of future generations.
