The Minister of State in charge of Primary and Secondary Education Conduct a consultative meeting on Quality Education Delivery in Nyanza District

On this Friday 25th January 2018, The Minister of State in Charge of Primary and Secondary Education, Dr Isaac MUNYAKAZI conducted a consultative meeting with Nyanza district School managers and Education officers to assess the level of the quality Education delivered in Nyanza District and agree on recommendations that can help to improve the learning and Teaching in Nyanza district.

The Minister of State congratulated the schools of Nyanza district that managed to be among the best performers of the country in the last School Year like College Christ Roi 2018, and requested the other schools to take those examples and improve their Teaching and Learning.

The meeting discussed on management of schools, the accountability, leaders engagement in teaching and learning, collaboration in Education activities, parents engagement in school leadership, performance of schools/students, repetition and school dropout, etc.

Nyanza district School managers and Education officers committed to improve the quality of the Education delivered in the district especially on the above mentioned points of discussion.
